Your action plan
0 of 9 goals started
What is this? Your action plan maps your agency's work to the three Mayoral Mandates. Click any goal to expand and write your response — you'll present this document at the July summit.
Making New York City Affordable for Every New Yorker Goal 1
"What is Finance's most impactful lever for reducing the cost burden on every working-class New Yorker?"
Tip: Be specific. Which program, policy, or process change at DOF can directly reduce financial burden for low-income households in Year 1?
Making New York City Affordable for Every New Yorker Goal 2
"How will Finance make its own services — fines, fees, property tax — more navigable for low-income households?"
Tip: Think about a specific process reform. Simplified payment plans, proactive outreach, or language access improvements are strong starting points.
Eliminating Corruption and Waste Goal 4
"What is your first audit priority — and what would it take to complete it in 100 days?"
Tip: Name a specific system or process at DOF that should be reviewed. Parking adjudication, tax lien sales, and property assessment are areas with documented equity issues.
Demonstrating Government Excellence Goal 7
"What does excellent government look like at DOF in Year 1? What is the measurable outcome?"
Tip: Pick one metric that doesn't currently exist or isn't publicly reported — and commit to publishing it by end of Year 1. Strong goals are both specific and verifiable.

How this works: When a commissioner registers via Luma, Zapier writes a row to the Module Registrations database. The Commissioner Database updates via rollup — no manual entry. The program team sees all of this in real time from Notion.
